The most accurate way to choose a size is to compare a shirt that already fits you with the chart below. All measurements are in centimetres.

Measure your body with a tape measure and match it with the body sizes below. Chest is measured around the fullest part of the chest, waist just above the navel.

How to measure a shirt that fits
- Take the shirt that fits you best, button it up and lay it flat on the floor or a table.
- A. Body width: measure straight across from the left side to the right side, just below the armpits.
- B. Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
- C. Body length: measure from the highest shoulder point next to the collar down to the hem.
- Match the numbers with the chart. Body width matters most, because sleeves can be rolled up.
Choosing between two sizes
- Mostly worn buttoned and tucked in: choose the smaller size for a neater look.
- Mostly worn open over a T-shirt: choose the larger size for more room to move.
- 100% cotton shirts can shrink slightly when washed in hot water or tumble-dried on high heat. Wash cold to keep the size.
If the size isn't right
You can request a size exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, still tagged, and the replacement size is in stock.

Is the sizing unisex?
Yes. This chart is for Nuefelt unisex long-sleeve shirts. If you usually wear women's sizes, match by your shirt's body width rather than the S, M or L label.
What do the numbers like S (29) and M (30) mean?
They are the size numbers printed on Nuefelt product size charts. To choose, just use the S to XXL label and the centimetre figures in the chart.
Will Nuefelt flannel shirts shrink?
They are 100% cotton, so they can shrink slightly with high heat. Washed cold and dried in the shade, they keep their size.
